Der Wanderer is one of my favourite tracks of walden. I love the mystical sense it exudes. It reminds me very much of an Opeth song, & it wouldn’t be far-fetched to imagine it as something Blackmore’s Night might’ve come up with, too. All in all, a nice ambient EP. 7.5/10.

These tracks all seem to be captured moments of coming to understand some anonymous circumstance of life as simply being ‘the way that it is’, & calmly accepting it as such. walden has a knack for leaving his tunes open for personal interpretation because he evidently expresses & shares, with us his audience, his own introspective observations & journeys.
